It’s not too late for beautiful outdoor family photos. Different trees change at different times and there are plenty of parks to choose from in Spokane. Last year this family did photos in mid November and still had colorful trees (at a different park) but because of the little one they wanted to do them earlier so it wasn’t so cold. Tips for family photos…. 1. Coordinate colors, don’t match completely. Variances in color and texture keep the look interesting and mimics the surroundings.
2. Go to a location where you know your family will be comfortable and have fun.
3. When little ones are involved, make sure there are plenty of snacks and drinks on hand because they are working hard too!!
4. The time of day is important. This time of year the afternoons are nice for warmth, but also as the sun lowers in the sky you can get beautiful light through the trees. The time of day is important for little ones too….make sure to work around their nap schedule and they will be much happier.
5. It’s also helpful to tell your photographer what you may do with these photos. Christmas cards, albums, wall portraits, wall art series….the list goes on and on but if you have an idea it helps direct poses and ideas for the session. All this and more is covered at your complimentary consultation, so call now!!!!!
